Thankyou so much to all buyers and underbidders at our Inaugural Nettle Creek Invitational Commercial Female Sale held in Grafton on Thursday 26th February. Local support was tremendous along with much valued support from repeat buyers. It was a very successful sale with No. 6 F1 Charbray PTIC females topping twice at $1240/hd and unjoined No.8 F1 Brangus females topping twice at $920/hd.
October 2008 - Rockhampton Brahman Week
We had a successful sale at Rockhampton Brahman Week with our 4 red bulls averaging $9750 (14th in the Top 20 Vendor averages). Thanks so much to all buyers and underbidders. Since 2005, we have sold 12 bulls at RBWS for an average of $11,800.
September 2008 - Grafton Bos Indicus Sale
A big thankyou to all buyers, underbidders, bidders and supporters at the Grafton Bos Indicus Sale. We had a successful sale with many bulls going to repeat buyers. Thankyou for your continued support and all the best to our new clients with your purchases. We have decided to keep our genuine F1 females (Angus x Brahman & Charolais x Brahman) until Thursday 26th February 2009 when we will hold a special breeder female sale in Grafton - "The Nettle Creek Invitational Female Sale". Geoff and Lynn have been major purchasers of our F1 females (out of our stud Bizzy Brahman cows by registered Angus bulls) for the past 7 years at the Grafton Bos Indicus sale. December 2007 - Margaretta Fahey Judges Brahmans in Thailand
Margaretta was impressed with the quality of cattle she judged in Thailand and would like to thank all those involved for their wonderful hospitality. It was was great to see Mr. Bizzy Redwing ( purchased at RBWS in '05 for $20,000) looking so good and proving so popular.
October 2007 - Bizzy tops Select Sires at Rockhampton Brahman Week
We offered 3 Red Brahman sires at Rockhampton and averaged $15,666 (6th in the Top 10 Vendor averages). A big thankyou to buyers and underbidders and all who showed interest in our bulls. Bizzy Brutus, Lot 2, sold for $25,000 to David & Julie & Matt & Janelle McCamley, Lancefield Stud. Bizzy Julius, Lot 3 is heading to the NT - purchased for $14,000 by Paul and Debbie Herrod, Ponderosa Stud, Katherine and Bizzy Rus, Lot 1 sold for $8000 to Allan Williams, Riverside Grazing, Nebo. Thankyou all very much for your support. Bizzy Brutus was the top priced Select Sire in both red and grey sections.
September 2007 - Bizzy tops 30th Grafton Bos Indicus Sale
On Saturday, 1st September, we had the 30th Grafton Bos Indicus Bull and Stud Female Sale and were proud to be offering quality cattle for our 30th consecutive year. In the judging we had great success being awarded with Champion Brahman Bull and Grand Champion Bull of the sale with Bizzy 2288. We were also awarded Champion Brangus and Charbray bulls along with Champion pen of F1 Females. We also achieved top price of the sale with Bizzy Humphrey selling to local cattle producers Tony and Melaine Dougherty for $8000. Thankyou very much for your support and thanks to losing bidder Lance Strain, Mallanganee. Thankyou Lance for your purchase of Bizzy 2288 - Grand Champion and 2nd top priced bull of the sale for $6500. We thank all buyers and underbidders for your support and a special thanks to Darren Hogan and Geoff & Jacqueline Yates on the purchase of 3 bulls each.
June 2007 - Bizzy Rus awarded Grand Champion Interbreed Bull at Primex
Bizzy Brahmans attended the Primex Field Days in Casino in mid-June where it was great to see many friends and clients as well as meeting many new people. Thankyou for your interest and support. In the Interbreed Beef Cattle Competition, Bizzy Rus (S:El Ja Marty, D:Tartrus Red Robyn) was awarded Grand Champion Interbreed Bull. F1 females sired by Bizzy bulls were awarded champion pen of commercial females and sold for over $1000. Congratulations to Darryl Amos and family of Bonalbo.
March 2007 - Brahman Photo takes out National Competition
Margaretta Fahey won the "Best Overall Photo" in the Animal Health Australia Livestock Photo Competition. Titled "Hats Off To Us", the photo is of red Bizzy Brahman calves taken at "Nettle Creek". It was judged from over 1700 photos that were entered from all over Australia. To view photo click here.

December 2006 - ABBA Trade Mission to Thailand
Margaretta Fahey travelled to Thailand as part of the ABBA's Trade Mission to Thailand. It was a fantastic trip and thankyou to everyone involved for such a great experience. Seeing Bizzy Redwing (sold to Thailand at Rockhampton Brahman Week 2005) and the first of his progeny was a rewarding experience along with 3 red Bizzy heifers at Loong Chow Farms. Thankyou to everyone in Thailand for your hospitality, generosity and great food!!!
26th July 2006 - BIA Award to Alice Fahey
Alice Fahey has just been awarded with the Beef Improvement Association of Australia (BIA) 2026 Award - for a person who will still be making a major contribution to the Australian Beef Industry in the year 2026. Alice is a cattle buyer for Australia Meat Holdings and also works on the Bizzy Brahman stud. She was awarded this " for her ongoing and significant commitment to the Australian beef industry, through her involvement in her family's successful seedstock operation; as a respected judge at many local and regional shows; and by her commitment to the Brahman breed in Australia. Her practical approach, understanding of the industry and general enthusiasm has earned her a high degree of respect".

The Bizzy Show team had a successful Beef 2006, claiming 5 firsts as well as winning the red Breeder's Group and Dam's Progeny (Bizzy Robina).

We had great success at Casino Beef Week this year with Bizzy Champagne and Bizzy Shandi taking out the All Breeds Junior and Senior Supreme Exhibits. Below are newspaper articles that featured in the Queensland Country Life and The Land.

Congratulations to Jack & Lance Strain of Mallanganee, NSW on the sale of 7 month old Bizzy Brahman x Hereford F1 heifers at Primex for $690/hd. All heifers were by Bizzy Brahman bulls.
