"Thankyou" A huge thankyou to all of our repeat buyers and new supporters of our commercial females at last weekends' Nettle Creek Invitational Commercial Female Sale. We sold 235 F1 Angus & Charolais X Brahman females ranging in age from 5-28 months for a $971 average. A top of $1340 for PTIC F1 Angus x Brahman females was achieved with 83 PTIC females averaging $1292. Unjoined No 0's achieved a top of $1140. We, along with invited vendors are appreciative of the support you have given us. Congratulations to David & Julie McCamley, Lancefield D Stud on selling the top priced red bull at the recent Big Country Brahman Sale in Charters Towers. A red, polled son of Bizzy Brutus (bought at Rockhampton in 2007), Lancefield D Bollanger sold for $27,000 to Keith & Annabelle Wilson, Samari Plains, Roma. This success follows on from another Bizzy Brutus son that topped the red bull section at last years' Tartrus Lancefield Sale for $20,000. Bizzy Brutus is out of one of our leading females,Bizzy Jade (daughter of Bizzy Delphine) by Rowallan Red Brutus. LANCEFIELD TOPS REDS AT $27,000 "A poll, heavy muscled sire from the Lancefield Stud topped the red section of the Big Country Brhman Sale. David and Julie McCamley presented the 822kg son of Bizzy Brutus, Lancefield D Bollanger and he was the centre of strong attention from Studmasters. Keith and Annabelle Wilson, Samari Plains, Roma bid by telephone to $27,000 to secure the bull, after having inspected him as a youngster at the McCamley’s Dingo property." Source: www.geaneys.com.au
